Getting started takes one phone call
There is no obligation and nothing to sign to have a conversation with us. No minimum hours, no package to buy, no contract. Here is how it actually goes.
- 01
You call or send a note
Tell us about your mom, your dad, your husband or your neighbor — what they can still do easily, where they are starting to struggle, and what worries you most. A short note is plenty. There is no charge to talk and nothing to sign.
- 02
We come and meet them
One of us comes by to sit and talk, at no cost. Your loved one should get to decide whether they like us. That matters more than any form we could fill in, and it is why the first visit is never a sales call.
- 03
You choose the shape of it
An hour here and there, a set time each day, or the same afternoon every week. Most families start smaller than they expect to and add time once they see how it is going.
- 04
We keep you in the loop
You will know who is coming and when. If something changes — a missed refill, a bad day, an appointment that needs rescheduling — you hear it from us, not weeks later.
Hourly, daily or weekly — you decide
These are the three ways most families use us. Plenty of people mix them: a longer visit on Monday and a short one on Thursday. Nothing is fixed in place.
Hourly
A few hours, when you need them
- An appointment and the ride home
- A weekly outing or errand run
- Respite so the family caregiver can keep their own life
Daily
A steady part of every day
- Meals cooked and eaten together
- Medication reminders at the times set
- Company during the quiet stretch of the afternoon
Weekly
A reliable standing visit
- The same caregiver, the same day
- Laundry, tidying and the small chores
- Grocery run with the bags carried in
What the first visit is really like
We know the word “assessment” sounds like a clipboard. There is no clipboard. It is a cup of coffee and a conversation, and usually a story or two about Cherokee County forty years ago.
We listen more than we talk. We find out what your loved one still enjoys, what they have quietly given up, and what they would like to get back. We ask about the medications their doctor has them on — not to change anything, but so we know what the schedule is.
Then we tell you honestly whether we are the right fit. If your loved one needs skilled nursing or physical therapy, we are not it, and we will say so and point you toward someone who is. If what they need is company, rides, meals and a hand around the house, that is exactly us.
The first step is just a phone call — (678) 446-0958.
Ready to start, or just want to ask a question?
Either one is fine. We would rather talk it through than have you guess at what your loved one needs.
A word about money, since you are wondering
Rates depend on how much time your loved one needs and how far we are driving, so we go through it openly on the phone before any visit is scheduled — no surprises later and nothing added quietly. Ask us anything about it. We would rather answer a blunt question than have you worrying about a bill you have not seen.
